From March 16 to 19, experts along the machining value chain will present use cases on the topic of “digital machining”.
As no physical trade shows can take place this half-year either, the successful DiMaP (Digital Machining Market Place) format will enter its second round from March 16 to 19. Following the successful launch of the marketplace for digital machining in spring 2020, 16 companies and institutes from the entire machining value chain, from research institutes to machine builders, have opted for the international online trade fair. The highlight of the format is live demonstrations from the machine, some of which will also be held jointly – by a machine builder and a tool manufacturer. The idea is to present digital solutions in a coordinated and real way from the point of view of the machining operation, as well as to answer questions from the participants live.
Setting the standard in digital machining together.
DiMaP initiator and coordinator is the wireless sensor system manufacturer for monitoring and control tasks, pro-micron GmbH from Kaufbeuren in the Allgäu region. With the help of sensor-based solutions, partners in the machining value chain can further develop their own offerings, introduce new business models and jointly set the standard in digital machining. Fifteen technology leaders will also show their solutions live in the machine around the topic of “digital machining”.
Main topics: Aerospace & Lightweight construction, Tool & Mould making and Powertrain.
The focus of DiMaP 2.0 this time is on use cases in digital machining. The format of the main topics – Aerospace & Lightweight Construction, Tool & Mould Making and Powertrain – is new and will take place in the mornings of the trade show days. At the beginning of each focal point, there will be an orientation lecture by the research institutions. At the Director’s Exchange, management representatives from the industry debate the trends and implications of digital machining in a public panel discussion.
DiMaP 2.0 becomes more international and a digital experience.
DiMaP 2.0 offers visitors and exhibitors a professional trade fair platform. Via the DiMaP website www.digital-machining.de, visitors can access the virtual exhibition grounds with just one click. In an online conference hall, top-class expert lectures and live presentations take place, each in German and English. Also, there will be presentations in Mandarin. In addition to the trade conference, each exhibitor has its own booth with additional information offerings, videos and live chat options. An ideal place to get into conversation with the speakers.
16 technology leaders from business and research.
Exhibitors include the sensor system manufacturer pro-micron GmbH, the clamping technology experts from Rego-Fix, the grinding tool manufacturer Hermes, the full-range cutting tool supplier Ceratizit and the precision tool specialists Urma, Heule and Hufschmied. The cooling lubricant manufacturer Blaser, LIQUIDTOOL with their intelligent cooling lubricant monitoring and the industrial AI company Tvarit will also be there.
