The year 2025 was once again marked by economic uncertainty and geopolitical conflicts. For pro-micron, it was also a year of transformation in which we set important courses for the future – technologically, organizationally, and strategically.

pro-micron will be represented at the Sandvik Coromant Tech Days 2025 at the Sandvik Coromant Center in Pune, India, with the spike® sensory toolholder technology.
Pro-Micron Year in Review 2024 and Outlook for 2025
The year 2024 will be remembered as an economically turbulent and historically significant year. For pro-micron, it was one of the most important years since the company was founded.
Helen Blomqvist, CEO of Sandvik Coromant, Visits Pro-Micron
We recently had the honor of welcoming Helen Blomqvist (CEO, SANDVIK Coromant) as well as Sanela Lundqvist (Vice President HR) and Rüdiger Mannherz (CFO).
The personal visit was greatly appreciated by our employees and strengthened the feeling of really being part of the Sandvik family.
The aim was to personally introduce pro-micron in general.
Spike® and Fusion at EMO HANNOVER 2023
Do you know your actual tool life? Our spike® team investigated this question. Our trade fair team presented the results and other new developments relating to the spike® model series from September 18–23 at the EMO in Hanover.
Spike® for the Production of Aerospace Components
Our spike® trade fair team was on the road again, this time to France for the SIAE Paris Air Show in Le Bourget in the north of Paris. Our focus at this aerospace trade fair was primarily on the topic of tool failure point determination in CFRP machining.
Pro-Micron Team Event at the Grünten
Let's go, the fun begins! That was our motto when we started our pro-micron team event on Friday, February 10th, 2023. A hike, evening tobogganing, and of course good food were a must. And for those who were adventurous, there was the possibility to go skiing the following day.
Spike® – Sensory Tool Holder Made in Germany
Our spike® sensory tool holder is made in Germany. All of our products are manufactured on site in Kaufbeuren in the Allgäu region. This allows the entire production chain to be bundled at one location, ensuring our usual quality.
