The spike® Data Tracking Set is an automatic, machine-related data acquisition and analysis system for comprehensive process evaluation and development in the laboratory as well as for series production in manufacturing. By connecting the fusion Edge software to the PLC or directly to the NC control (via OPC UA), machine data can be read out automatically, assigned to our “fusion” software database, and stored synchronously and centrally on the server.
In this way, the machine becomes the primary data source, providing the basis for evaluating, comparing, and analyzing processes. All metadata from the NC programs, spindle current data, and axis position data are available.
The combination of sensitive spike® data and machine data covers the full spectrum of high-frequency data, setting our system apart from competing approaches.
