Third-party monitoring set
Third-party monitoring set
Highly sensitive process data for enhanced machine monitoring. The Third-Party Monitoring Set.
Process monitoring by machine manufacturers and spindle current monitoring systems is well-established and effective. However, for today’s quality requirements, mere tool breakage and wear detection is often insufficient.
Additionally, the detection of quality-critical process problems such as drill run-out, burr formation, single-edge wear, and small process forces in micro-machining and low chip volumes is relevant.
Here, spike® offers added value through direct measurement at the tool: up to 8 kHz sampling rate, high sensitivity, and bending moment measurement (deflection forces).
A data interface developed by pro-micron enables direct raw data streaming from the receiver into external systems. This allows machine manufacturers and spindle current system providers to expand their monitoring capabilities and offer more comprehensive process monitoring.
