fusion

Modern machining Tech-Center from bird's-eye view showing CNC machines and a desk with a person beside it.

The fusion software is the heart of the spike® system.

It makes the measured forces, moments, and machine data visible, evaluable, and correlatable, enabling automated machine reactions or downstream optimizations.
Live at the machine, during subsequent analysis, or via remote access to your machine park on the other side of the world.

FAQ

fusion is a software solution for end-to-end process and data transparency in manufacturing.
It helps to centrally record, understand, and meaningfully use measurement, machine, and process data – both live at the machine and across all processes.
The goal is to detect process deviations earlier, find causes faster, and make sound decisions based on real production data.

Our fusion software is a modular system. This means the range of functions can be tailored very individually to your needs. This way, you only pay for the functions you actually need.

Components of fusion:

  • fusion Edge for data recording and data labeling
  • fusion Server and its main features:
    • "Analysis" for in-depth data analysis
    • "Database" for structuring previously recorded data
    • "Sensor Management" for an overview and management of the connected spike® sensors

fusion Edge works directly at the machine.
There, sensor and machine data are recorded, visualized, monitored, and, if necessary, used immediately for machine reactions.

fusion Server is the central data and analysis platform.
This is where the data from all fusion Edge systems converge, are correlated, analyzed, and evaluated across processes, machines, and time periods.

In short:
Edge = Record & React
Server = Understand & Optimize

fusion is aimed at companies that want to make their manufacturing processes transparent, stable, and reproducible – regardless of industry or machine type.

Typical users are:

  • Production & Manufacturing
  • Quality Management
  • Process and Industrial Engineering
  • Technical Management

fusion is particularly useful when processes are data-intensive, quality requirements are high, or deviations need to be detected quickly.

With fusion, you get:

  • Transparency regarding ongoing processes instead of gut feeling
  • Early detection of deviations
  • Faster root cause analysis instead of long searches
  • Comparability of processes, machines, and batches
  • Sound bases for decision-making based on real data

This typically leads to more stable processes, less scrap, and sustainably better process quality.

No.
fusion is an expert tool, but for example for users from production and quality assurance. Our goal is always for you to be able to work with it independently.
Visualization, analysis, and comparison are clearly structured and designed for industrial practice.

Data analysts or programming skills are not a prerequisite.

fusion can combine data from a wide variety of sources, e.g.:

  • Machine and control data
  • Process and measurement data
  • Sensor data (e.g., spike® sensors, probe data, ...)
  • Events and states

The great advantage is that this data can be viewed not in isolation, but in context.

fusion monitors processes continuously and makes deviations immediately visible – live at the machine or centrally in the server version.
Instead of analyzing errors after the fact, critical conditions can be detected and understood early on.

This allows causes to be narrowed down more quickly and countermeasures to be derived in a more targeted manner.

fusion is based on a modular license model. We determine your needs in a consultation with you and then select the right modules for you.

This transparent consultation ensures that you only book the licenses you really need.
Should your requirements change over time, the booked licenses can, of course, be adjusted.
