Spike®
Spike®
spike® sensors are compatible with many different tool holder types.
spike® measures all important process forces.
It’s impossible to install the sensors more precisely than within the tool itself.
The sensor measures the process forces
- Bending moment in x and y direction
- Axial force
- Torsion
- Temperature
This data is transmitted wirelessly to the receiving unit.
Advantages of the mobile sensor:
-
Plug-and-Play:Use on different machines and locations
-
Highly sensitive:Depending on the sensitivity level, very small forces are detectable.
-
Versatility:Additional detection of torsional moment
the next generation
The spike®2 takes force measurement to the next level.
With improved sensitivity, higher sampling rate and reduced susceptibility to interference, it sets new standards.

New calibration process
With the new calibration concept, pro-micron is taking a consistent step towards maximum measuring accuracy and traceability. The calibration takes place on a separate test system based on DKD-R 3-3 and includes a precise, multi-stage loading of each axis.
Do you already own a spike® system and would like to benefit from the new calibration concept?
Simply contact us for a recalibration of your spike®.
Calibration protocol
The new calibration protocol offers significantly more transparency and informative value. In addition to pure calibration, it also documents measurement uncertainty, cross-sensitivity, and all axis data.
