Product description - Exact determination of the core temperature

To determine the core temperature of the meat, the temperature sensor must be at the coldest point on the food product. By using several sensors, the customer no longer needs to hit the very core of the food, but only has to stick the skewer into the food.

 

The intelligent sensors take over control, in conjunction with the correspondingly further developed Miele cooking programs. pro-micron has brought the world's first wireless multi-point temperature sensor on the market.

 

The system works at 2.45GHz, meets all relevant approval criteria and can therefore be used worldwide without restrictions.

Custom development

Since 2016, pro-micron has specialized in the production and development of passive SAW radio systems for various applications. By customizing the sensor design, packaging and antenna layout, pro-micron implemented a solution optimized for the specific application. Since the end of 2018, pro-micron has been producing SAW-based temperature sensors with 4 sensors in series. The tip_probe food thermometer has been successfully sold on the US market for the smart home sector since the beginning of 2019.

Miele integrates pro-micron SAW-based temperature sensors in your smart ovens

At the Kitchen & Bath industry show in Las Vegas, Miele introduced the product “wireless precision probe”.

Exclusively for Miele pro-micron developed and produced a sensor in series based on SAW-Technology. It functions as an exact wireless food thermometer and communicates with the oven, which regulates the temperature automatically due to exact data information. No matter what food is cooked, it´s baked or roasted perfectly.
