pro-micron donated spike® to the vocational school Kaufbeuren

…and prepares the young generation for the modern mega-trends.

With the use of the intelligent toolholder spike® as a dignostic tool, the vocational school Kaufbeuren obtains the possibility to teach their students valuable content in the machining field. Respectively to the technical progress in the near future and the increasing digitalisation, the teachers of the vocational school Kaufbeuren are now supported by the spike®. The students learn how to deal with highly modern technology, as the donated spike® technology with machine connection enables a force based toolchange, control of form and position tolerances and therefor an inline 100 % quality control.

With our present we would like to smooth the way for young, highly motivated students in an intelligently controlled and networked work environment.

In order to show the importance of digitalisation in the machining area, CEO Hubertus von Zastrow will hold a presentation at IHK Augsburg about “Artificial Intelligence in the machining field and its impacts on the jobs of tomorrow“ on the 9th of July 2020.
